What the site collects

Contact form. If you send the form, we receive the name, company, email address, phone number, topic and message you type. Phone is optional on the form. A hidden field is there to catch automated submissions. If that field is filled in, we discard the submission and store nothing. When an enquiry is stored, the server also keeps the browser user agent that came with the request.

Website assistant. The panel sends the message you type, and a short recent history of that chat, to /api/assistant on this site. If an Anthropic API key is configured, that text is sent to Anthropic so the reply can be written. If the key is not configured, the panel does not call Anthropic and points you to the contact page.

A confirmed assistant enquiry. If you ask the assistant to pass a message to the team, it asks for your name, your email and what you need, then asks you to confirm. Only after you confirm does it send those three fields through the same contact route as the form. It does not invent them.

Technical data. The host may log an IP address and the request, as ordinary server logs. The assistant uses the IP address only to slow repeated messages. That limit is held in server memory. It is not a customer database.

Fonts. The pages load the Inter typeface from Google Fonts. Your browser sends your IP address to Google when it fetches the font.

Why we use it

We use enquiry details to reply to you, prepare for a conversation, and keep a record of that enquiry. We use assistant messages to answer the question you asked. We use technical data to deliver the pages and to limit automated submissions. We do not sell personal information.

Who processes it

These providers process personal information for this website when the relevant service is switched on. They do so to host the site, deliver email, store an enquiry, answer the assistant, or serve the font.

• Vercel hosts the site, the contact route and the assistant route, and holds server logs.
• Resend sends the enquiry email when a Resend API key is configured. The default recipient is info@a-zconsultancyltd.com.
• Supabase stores the enquiry in the consultation_requests table when Supabase is configured. If it is not configured, the email is the record.
• Anthropic receives assistant messages when an Anthropic API key is configured, so it can write the reply. The browser does not call Anthropic. Our server does.
• Google Fonts serves the Inter font files to your browser.
• PLACEHOLDER: confirm that info@a-zconsultancyltd.com is read in Google Workspace. Enquiry email is addressed to that mailbox. Until this is confirmed or corrected, this notice names Google Workspace as the expected mailbox provider, not as a checked contract.

AI and training

Anthropic's commercial terms say that Anthropic may not train models on Customer Content from the Services. Customer Content means what is submitted to the service and what the service returns. The terms are at anthropic.com/legal/commercial-terms.

Anthropic's privacy center says that, by default, inputs and outputs from commercial products such as the Anthropic API are not used to train Anthropic models. It also says that if a customer opts in, or sends feedback that allows training, that content may be used. The article is at privacy.anthropic.com.

This website assistant has no control that sends a rating of the chat to Anthropic.

How long we keep it

We keep an enquiry while we are in conversation with you, and afterwards for a further period for our own records.

Your rights

European Economic Area and the United Kingdom: under the GDPR or the UK GDPR you can ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction, a portable copy, and to object. You can complain to a supervisory authority.
